What you should do after hair transplant?
- You may have pain in the evening after the surgery, and you can take painkillers. You should start the other medications given the day after the operation.
- You may want to use drugs such as Minoxidil, and Finasteride. You should consult your doctor about using these drugs.
- You need to slep with a neck pillow. You should rest much. Also, you should drink 2.5-3 liters of water a day (first 5-days.)
- You must wear shirts and zippered clothes for 10-days.
- You should consume protein foods.
- Do your best to avoid stress. It is beneficial to consume the drugs recommended by your doctor in addition to the medical drugs given.
- Especially if you want your process to be more efficient; You can have PRP and Mesotherapy. (Usually at 1,3,6,8,10,12 months or as your doctor recommends)
- While the forehead starts to give its results within the first 6-12 months, the top of your head begins to provide results in the 9-18 months.
- Towards the end of the first month, 80% of the transplanted hair falls out. By the third month, all your transplanted hair will fall out. A slight redness may appear. These are all normal. From the 3-4. month, your transplanted hair will start to grow slowly.
What you should not do after hair transplant?
- Never bow your head forward. (Act like a robot for the first 5-days)
- Do not touch the hair transplant area for the first 10-days. Perform the washing process as described. You can take a shower in warm, unpressurized water after the 2nd day.
- Sauna, Turkish baths, spas, swimming, and sports activities are prohibited for 1-month. Also, you can not go into the sea for 2 months.
- For the first 3-months, stay away from sports that will make you sweat.
- It should not be consumed (cigarette, alcohol) for a 1-month. (Try to quit as long as possible.)
- The hair dryer should not be used on the grafted area for 1-month.
- The grafted area must not be shaved with a shaver for 6-months. You can cut your hair with scissors.
- You have to avoid actions such as hitting, striking, and friction. The compensation can be corrected by performing the second operation 1-year later.
- Avoid lifting heavy loads for the first 10-days. Do not wear a hat or beret for the first 14 days.
- Avoid direct exposure to the sun for the first 10-days.
